Underground fire hydrant to GOST 53961-2010
AVK S.35 underground hydrants are equal to high quality in every detail. The hydrant has a 6” threaded outlet connection for GOST standpipe, protected by a hinged lockable ductile iron cap. As a safety device, the top flange has two integrated hooks to secure the stem from blowing out if unauthorized personnel dismantle the hydrant top part under pressure. The shutoff plug is vulcanized with PUR for maximum memory effect. The automatic drainage system secures total emptying of the hydrant after use.

Features

- Frost-proof automatic drainage in flush proof design.
- Also available with manual drainage.
- Radial sealing valve seat of dezincification resistant brass.
- Disc with ductile iron core coated with PUR (Polyurethane) for maximum memory effect.
- Optionally lockable hinged ductile iron cap.
- Screwed cap which saves space inside the surface box.
- Top flange with two integrated safety hooks to secure the stem from blowing out, if unauthorized personnel dismantle the hydrant top part under pressure.
- Stem bearing with polyamide antifriction washer secures an easy and smooth operation.
- Fusion bonded epoxy coating in compliance with DIN 3476 part 1 and EN 14901, GSK approved
