Eight leaks in the largest pipeline of Southern Italy were repaired using AVK’s ingenious Hydro Stop socket encapsulation collars.

Located in the South Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, the city of Písek have welcomed a new water treatment plant to generate an independent water supply for the quality of citizens’ lives. Curiously, the city of Pisek have been outsourcing resources for decades despite their vast history dating back to the 13th century and have only now decided to source locally.

Near the largest freshwater lake of Central Europe in Hungary’s Mid-West – Lake Balaton – lies a crucial pipeline for water supply. After increased incidents of its dysfunction which impacts many, the pipeline was reconstructed using AVK’s butterfly valves and Supa Maxi™ solutions.

In Germany’s state of Nordrhein-Westfalen lies several dams maintained by the water management association Aggerverband. In a base drainage renewal project for one of the dams, AVK supplied a needle valve which was sourced globally at a local scale. The DN1200/PN16 needle valve used as a bottom outlet for the dam aims to regulate water levels, keeping it consistent during heavy rainfall.

Abu Dhabi faces great challenges in accessing clean water, compounded by water shortages. To combat this, a strong focus on water supply efficiency has arisen. A concerted effort with AVK solutions targeting non-revenue water resulted in declined water loss from 45% to 10% in major Al Ain City areas.
